The Michel Bouzereau et Fils estate has been run by Jean-Baptiste Bouzereau (Michel's son) for 25 years now. The vineyard is planted with pinot noir and chardonnay, but the reputation of the estate comes mainly from the chardonnays, especially the prestigious Meursault wines from the best climates of the appellation, such as Tessons, Genevrières or the mythical Perrières in Meursault or Cailleret in Puligny Montrachet Premier Cru. The wines benefit from long maturing periods, 12 or 18 months, and from an ultra-precise vinification process, which produces wines that are easy to digest, with a rare elegance and depth...
