Grain Cinq comes from two sublime terroirs of M-T Chappaz; the Claives and the Combe d'Enfer with a blend of five grape varieties which are Ermitage, Païen, Petite arvine, Pinot Blanc and Sylvaner.
"Explosive nose of peach melba, hazelnut, citrus, pepper, butter braid. On the palate, there is a lot of volume, silkiness and power. Different from a blended wine, it is to be approached as a score of grape varieties on the granite terroir of Les Claives (petite arvine, marsanne, pinot blanc, païen and sylvaner)."
