Santenay En Bievau

The Santenay en Bievau is a pure marvel, rare are the vintages that really shine in this appellation.

Domaine Bart :
We had already visited this estate in 2009 before the launch of Passionnés du Vin. This estate was not selected but it remained on the shelves because it was very close at the time. Fabrice, who is in charge of studying our selection with a view to its perpetual improvement, analysed this estate again, which seemed to be in full progress in view of the laudatory comments heard and read about it. All that remained was to confirm it or not in the field...
We have to admit that the new sorting table is a real plus, allowing us to clearly gain in maturity of the grapes thanks to an even more meticulous sorting.
At the tasting, the whole of the pre-selection was validated with cuvées "to die for"!

The Marsannay reds are magnificent, whether it be the fruity Les Longeroies, made to be drunk younger, or Les Champs Salomon, which represents the archetype of a very pretty pinot, with notes of morello cherry.

The Fixin 1er cru Les Hervelets is on another level, with more body and a bright future ahead of it.

What can we say about the Bonnes-Mares and the Chambertin Clos de Bèze, both explosive and refined, two great wines...

We complete the range with the Bourgogne Pinot Noir, the Fixin as well as the Marsannay white and rosé which, like all the wines here, are truly exceptional in terms of quality/price/pleasure, something that is becoming increasingly difficult to find in this coveted Côte de Nuits...
We have brought back a few bottles to immediately start marketing the wines of this domain, which we feel is now a must in this sector.
