A great oxidative wine! The very expression of Mauzac, drawn from tradition by the Plageoles house, it is one of the great white wines of the Xeres or Jura yellow wine type.
Ageing: 20 to 50 years
Serving temperature: 15°C in summer, 17°C in winter
Grape variety : Mauzac
Terroir : Clay-limestone.
Cultivation:
Planting density: 5000 vines/ha pruned in
gobelet.
Yields: 30 hl/ha
Manual harvest
Vinification:
Direct pressing, static settling overnight,
indigenous yeast. Aged in wood (old half
muits) for 7 years without topping up.
All the vines are organically cultivated (AB certification) and pruned in gobelet, the traditional pruning of the vineyard.
