Magnum Fongeant
One of the most beautiful vintages of the entire appellation, made from old selections from the Fongeant area. Depth, vigour and energy. The fruitiness is magnificent, the finish is radiant, with lots of length and sap.
Age of the vines:over60 years old
Density: 10,000vines/ha
Pruning: gobelet on stakes
70% of the grapes are harvested whole, then sorted on a vibrating table and transported to the vats by conveyor belt
Maceration for about 20 days.
Maturation: 24months in barrels and 1/2 muids of 500l. Racking 6 weeks before bottling.
