Ce Gauby Muntada revêt une robe rubis intense. Le nez dévoile des arômes de cerise et de fleur. En bouche, l'attaque est souple, offrant des saveurs de fruits rouges et d'épices. Une chair monumentale, un soyeux, une finesse et une longueur énorme caractérise également ce vin.

Terroir : sols de marnes calcaires.

Vinification et élevage : macération en grappes entières en cuves béton et inox, pressurage délicat. Puis élevage de 19 mois en foudres et cuves béton puis 5 mois en bouteille avant commercialisation.

Accords mets/vin : couscous, civet de sanglier, daube de boeuf.

Gérard Gauby, the master of Calce, has been pursuing his path to excellence for some thirty years now. This emblematic figure and standard-bearer of the Roussillon revival masters all the complexity of the Roussillon terroirs like no other. With his son and his wife, they deliver vintage after vintage a style of wine that is pure, fresh, digestible and dense at the same time, with an exemplary balance and straightforwardness, whether in red or white.
