A rare piece of work... The Ubac Blanc comes from Cyril Fahl's best parcel of Grenache Gris. An impressive juice, very elegant, deep, with a dazzling freshness and length...

100% Grenache Gris. 65 year old vines on north facing gneiss terroir.

Vinification as simple and clean as possible, only 1.5 g/hl of sulphur...

Grapes are picked at the right moment of ripeness, vinified by direct pressing and aged for 10 months in 500 litre demi-muids.

The Estate Rouge-Gorge

One of the great artisan-winemakers of the whole of France! Cyril Fhal settled in Latour de France in the Roussillon region on gneiss and schist terroirs. Cultivated biodynamically with extreme care and derisory yields, the vines of a total surface of 6 hectares produce wines of a rare purity, of a crazy elegance, infused nectars, all in subtlety and without any deficit of power, quite the contrary. Rare balances... We should not promote them too much because the bottles are precious, but passion prevails over reason... How can we not highlight such a talent?
