Ce Champagne Grand Cru Extra Brut est un assemblage rare de Pinot Noir et Chardonnay, provenant uniquement des Grands Crus d'Ambonnay, Bouzy et Verzenay. L'excellence commence à la vigne, sur des sols riches en craie. Grâce à une vinification intégrale en fûts et un vieillissement prolongé de sept ans sur lies, il déploie une profondeur remarquable. Son dosage Extra Brut ( $1$ g/L) met en lumière une minéralité et une pureté exceptionnelles, signature du style Egly-Ouriet.

"À la tête ce domaine familial d'Ambonnay, Francis Egly est un conducteur de vignes et un vinificateur hors pair. Précurseur incontestable au sommet de la hiérarchie champenoise, il a su choisir les meilleurs gestes au vignoble et fait des choix d'élaboration très personnels.

Respect de la plante et des sols, maturité parfaite des raisins, vinifications en fût, absence de fermentation malolactique, longs vieillissements entre quatre et six ans et caves ultra fraîches, permettent de créer cette alchimie d'émotions pures et captivantes.

Le vignoble se compose de 10 hectares en grands cru (Ambonnay, Bouzy, Verzenay), de deux hectares en premiers cru sur les fameuses vignes de Vrigny et dernièrement, l'acquisition de 3.25 hectares sur le terroir de Trigny au sein du Massif de Saint-Thierry qui fait naître cette année le lancement d'un nouveau brut, les-prémices.
