A fruit picked at the right time of ripeness which brings an immediate greediness, salivating as one pleases. Irresistible...
Made from vines planted in the early 1980s, planted at 8000 vines/ha on shallow grey schist and rhyolite soils. Fermented in stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeasts for 2-3 weeks, followed by maturation in 300L and 750L barrels (30% new) for 15-18 months.
