Jean Foillard is one of those winegrowers who have made the reputation of the Grands Beaujolais. This member of the "bande à Marcel" (Lapierre) produces mainly Morgon wines on 8 hectares. He practices clean viticulture and vinifies his wines in the traditional Beaujolais carbonic maceration method. Little or no filtration and a minimum of sulphur, the result is sincere wines made by an endearing, humble and talented character.
