Terroir : sols argilo-calcaires. Climat semi-continental alsacien, avec des étés chauds et des hivers froids.
Vinification et élevage : vendanges manuelles, avec une fermentation spontanée grâce aux levures indigènes. Élevage en cuves inox ou en foudres sur lies fines pendant plusieurs mois.
