Il offre un nez complexe caractérisé par des arômes de fruits blancs, de fruits secs et une agréable touche toastée. En bouche, il présente une fraîcheur saline dès le premier instant, suivie d'une belle densité en milieu de bouche, faisant de lui un excellent vin.
Terroir : Chardonnay, sélection massale et clonale. Vigne plantée en 1893, 1940 et 1975. Sols d'argile et de schistes carton du Lias.
