Mev. Kirsten
The rare Mev Kirsten cuvée (400 bottles...), which comes from very old vines with heavier soils, has an attractive bouquet with aromas of yellow flowers and hazelnut, and a hint of gingerbread that emerges with time. The palate is beautifully balanced, a lively line of acidity, just a little viscosity here with notes of light honey and quince jelly on the long, tender finish. Will become enormously complex in a few years.
