The Estate Marcel Lapierre

The Marcel Lapierre estate is located in the heart of the Beaujolais, in Villié-Morgon. Its particularity of having adopted organic farming, surprising 30 years ago, has today convinced many followers in the region. All the wines of the estate have the Marcel Lapierre "touch", natural, authentic wines, sometimes without any added sulphite, which draw their intrinsic quality from soils cultivated with the deepest respect for nature.
The Marcel Lapierre estate covers 13 hectares and produces an average of 80,000 bottles per vintage. The vineyard, planted exclusively with Gamay Noir, is made up of old vines with an average age of 60 years, including 2 hectares in the prestigious Côte du Py sector, which is one of the best terroirs in Morgon. Today, the vineyard is still run by the family, with the third generation taking over and perpetuating the philosophy of these high quality natural wines over the years. You can now find the best vintages of the Marcel Lapierre estate on the Passionnés Du Vin website in bottles or even magnums. This is an opportunity to discover a high quality Beaujolais under the Morgon PDO, in a classic or Marcel Lapierre cuvée, and based on an entirely natural production, wines with qualities highly appreciated by connoisseurs. You will enjoy opening a bottle, to be consumed in moderation, to accompany a meal with friends or family. These Morgons will go perfectly with potées, roast pork, a good shad, or even a clafoutis or an excellent ewe's milk cheese.

The Estate Montcalmès

Frédéric Pourtalié has become a Languedoc icon. The Montcalmès vineyard covers an area of 23 hectares today; Syrah and Grenache on a limestone plateau and Mourvèdre on rolled pebbles. A blend has been produced since 1999, the one that made the reputation of the Domaine. It is aged for twenty-four months in barrels, in the purest tradition without fining or filtration, a cuvée of unfailing regularity. Other cuvées made in Montcalmès have since been added to the range, starting with the rare white Marsanne and Roussane as well as Le Geai and a 100% Grenache cuvée. A domain to be drunk with your eyes closed...
