Robe d’un rouge profond aux reflets violets. Le nez est complexe et séduisant, mêlant des arômes de fruits rouges frais (cerise, framboise), de violette et une légère touche de minéralité typique du terroir granitique. En bouche, le vin est ample, soyeux, avec une belle structure tannique et une acidité bien équilibrée. Les arômes de fruits noirs mûrs et de poivre se révèlent progressivement, et la finale est longue et rafraîchissante, avec une touche de réglisse et de terroir.
Terroir : sols de granit décomposé, particulièrement riches en roches volcaniques.
Vinification et élevage : le vin est vinifié de manière traditionnelle, en macération carbonique. Élevage en cuves (souvent en béton ou en inox).

The Estate Marcel Lapierre
The Marcel Lapierre estate covers 13 hectares and produces an average of 80,000 bottles per vintage. The vineyard, planted exclusively with Gamay Noir, is made up of old vines with an average age of 60 years, including 2 hectares in the prestigious Côte du Py sector, which is one of the best terroirs in Morgon. Today, the vineyard is still run by the family, with the third generation taking over and perpetuating the philosophy of these high quality natural wines over the years.
