What the RVF says in its 2018 Guide
"Jean-Baptiste, Antoine Arena's eldest son, now runs the Grotte di Sole terroir. All the wines are still vinified at the family estate. Like his brother Antoine-Marie, he had been working alongside his father for several years. The vineyard and wine-making are therefore not unknown territory.
The wines: they have their own style, defined by a particular attention to maturity. The terroir of Grotte di Sole asserts a certain power that is important to contain. The white is well defined and harmonious, revealing itself with amplitude and width: a promising juice. The red is duller at first. After aeration, it displays a very spicy and floral profile: a concentrated, digestible wine with little extract, which remains very fresh. The Muscat is accomplished, with perfect maturity and sublime bitters
