A rarity in Rully...
Description of the estate :
In this very fine vintage, we wanted to get the best out of our Rully 1er Cru Cloux (a vineyard planted by our grandfather and father in 1967), and to show that in the Côte Chalonnaise and particularly in Rully, we are capable of making great red wines.
We selected the best grapes from the harvest, and we pushed the maturation to 24 months: 18 months in new barrels of the Tonnellerie Francois Frères specially made for this occasion and 6 months of rest in mass.
This cuvée was bottled unfiltered in November 2018, it is limiting as we only did this experiment on two barrels, or about 600 bottles. Special packaging, special label... And waxed bottles to keep the wine longer.
