Gourmandise et fraîcheur sur des arômes de fruits rouges et de notes florales. Vin effervescent rosé avec une mousse et une bulle très fine. Un grand Cerdon de gastronomie.

Terroir : vigne située sur la commune de Mérignat, nichée sur les contreforts du massif sud jurassien. Le sol est majoritairement argilo-calcaire.

Vinification et élevage : élaboré selon la méthode ancestrale. Cette méthode permet d’obtenir des vins effervescents naturellement sans avoir à rajouter des levures ou du sucre. Le vin encore en fermentation est mis en bouteilles où elle se poursuit tout en donnant naissance aux bulles et à la mousse.

Accords mets/vin : apéritif, plat épicé, dessert.

The Estate Montcalmès

Frédéric Pourtalié has become a Languedoc icon. The Montcalmès vineyard covers an area of 23 hectares today; Syrah and Grenache on a limestone plateau and Mourvèdre on rolled pebbles. A blend has been produced since 1999, the one that made the reputation of the Domaine. It is aged for twenty-four months in barrels, in the purest tradition without fining or filtration, a cuvée of unfailing regularity. Other cuvées made in Montcalmès have since been added to the range, starting with the rare white Marsanne and Roussane as well as Le Geai and a 100% Grenache cuvée. A domain to be drunk with your eyes closed...
