Cet Imalaya revêt une robe jaune or éclatante. Le nez est frais et complexe, tandis que la bouche est saline et élégante. On est portés par des saveurs d'agrumes et de fleurs mais aussi de notes fumées et épicées. La minéralité pierreuse est rafraîchissante. La finale est vibrante et salivante. Superbe vin !
Terroir : Carignan gris plantés en 1961 (plus qu’une vingtaine d’hectares de ce type de carignans plantés en France), sur granit située à la sortie du village de Tarerach... à 500 m d'altitude... c'est l'Himalaya ! Viticulture bio et biodynamique certifiée.
Vinification : rendements 15 hl/ha, vendanges manuelles en caisses de 20 kg, fermentation en levures indigènes, en fûts 4/5 vins de 500 L et 228 L.
Accord mets/vin : poisson vapeur ou en sauce, coquillages, crustacés.

Marjorie Gallet created the Roc des Anges estate
in 2001 in this magnificent region of Roussillon, in Montner, on a singular quartz vein where 25 hectares of old Grenache, Carignan, Maccabeu and Syrah express themselves to give birth to wines of very high quality, with a Catalan expression.The terroir of ancient schist favours the rooting of the vines and preserves the coolness during the heat peaks. The natural yield of these old vines, which are on average 65 years old, is barely 17hl/ha, which gives an exceptional concentration...
