This vintage was raised in barrels of new oaks from the Vosges. After fermentation, each grape was assembled and raised for 18 months. This wine has not undergone any bonding or filtration. Resolutely Mediterranean, this cuvée combines the grandeur and class of Mourvèdre with the suavity of Syrah and the fullness of Grenache. Its dark colour gives way to a nose with aromas mixed with blackberries and sweet spices. It is an elegant and long wine in the mouth.
Can age 3 to 4 years, or carafez it 2 to 3 hours before tasting.
Fine and racy, this cuvée will accompany with charm a lamb barron or a grilled duck breast with vine branches or roasted pigeons with juniper.
