This is one of the greatest Côtes de Nuits wines, with a soft, chiselled attack, and a focus on the essential: stripped of all superfluous elements, it is lively and invigorating with its bright, acidic flavours. A great wine for ageing. Vines planted between 1912 and 1972... Like a kaleidoscope of flavours and aromas, Clos de Bèze arouses emotion; its silky and fresh unfolding concentrates in a very high-flying mentholated finish.

"Le patrimoine de vignes est un des plus nobles qui soit, avec les grands joyaux de Gevrey comme le clos Saint-Jacques, les Cazetiers et le clos de Bèze. À signaler la reprise d'un hectare de Bonnes-Mares depuis 2016. Elle permet au domaine de posséder toute la partie sur Morey de cette appellation également présente en Chambolle.
La régularité dans la réussite et la préservation d'un même style mérite un grand coup de chapeau et en particulier à Philippe Brun, associé à Bruno Clair dès le début de l'aventure, et qui met toute son expertise de vi- nification au service de ces grands terroirs.
