Springbank is the only family-owned distillery in Campbeltown that makes all of its whiskies in-house. Each Springbank single malt, even the youngest, offers an astonishing range of aromas, combining fruitiness, maltiness, peat, with notes of spice and sometimes iodine. All this with power and also great elegance. A must for any self-respecting whisky lover.
This 10 year old: On the nose, it reveals notes of strawberry, citrus, apple and vanilla on a background of vegetable peat.
On the palate, quite lively on the attack, it confirms the notes of the nose and evolves on sweet fruits, cereal and coconut.
The salty and bitter sweet finish is also floral (rose), slightly oily and woody (oak).
