The violet reflections are present on a dark robe. On the nose, intense aromas of wood, pepper, black fruit, redcurrant and dried fruit emerge. It develops a dense attack, a compact matter, a straight and finely tannic continuation. The wood is well integrated and the finish remains fresh. A very great wine!
The mythical and legendary Spanish estate of La Bodega Vega Sicilia is located in Valbuena de Duero, on the southern slopes of the Duero basin. With an international reputation, Vega Sicilia has imposed its style from the very beginning. To maintain quality, the estate practices very low yields of around 20 hl/ha. They are blended with 80% Tempranillo and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine is aged for one year in tuns, followed by several years in barrels depending on the maturity of the vintage. The wines are then bottled without fining or filtration.
