Ce Savennières Les Vieux Clos arbore une couleur jaune intense. Arômes olfactifs révélant une puissance marquée de fruits bien mûrs. En bouche, l'intensité et la puissance prédominent, offrant une belle complexité et une finale remarquable, séveuse, stimulée par une grande concentration en extraits secs. Présence d'une note oxydative distinctive. 

Terroir : sols de schistes, quartz et sable. Age moyen des vignes : 18-20 ans.

Vinification et élevage : respect des processus de fermentation naturelle, utilisation exclusive des levures indigènes du vignoble. Puis élevage en fûts de chênes non neufs, mais la vinification est parfois faite en cuve.

Accords mets/vin : volaille aux morilles, homard, caille rôtie.
