Montrose now has a lady in the château to assist the master of the house. The vineyard of Chateau Montrose has a soil comparable to that of Latour, giving long-keeping wines. Cabernet Sauvignon (54%) and Merlot (46%) from the gravelly terroir are used to make this racy wine.
