An airy, ultra-precise Meursault-Genevrières, a model of class and refinement!

This Genevrières has a brilliant, golden colour and a sumptuous, very floral nose (eucalyptus, lime blossom, wild herbs) punctuated by an assertive minerality of gunflint and a hint of fresh almond and honey. The palate is clearly classy, taut and airy, with a pulpy edge that magnifies the whole. A subtle harmony reigns with this crystalline style enhanced by ripe white fruits and spices (ginger and sichuan pepper).

To be waited for wisely for a great moment of tasting.

Pairings: sweetbreads with cream, truffle risotto.

Surface: 0.52 Ha

Soil: clay-limestone (very calcareous-rich in pebbles)

Vines planted in 1987, 1990

The Estate Michel Bouzereau

The Michel Bouzereau et Fils estate has been run by Jean-Baptiste Bouzereau (Michel's son) for 25 years now. The vineyard is planted with pinot noir and chardonnay, but the reputation of the estate comes mainly from the chardonnays, especially the prestigious Meursault wines from the best climates of the appellation, such as Tessons, Genevrières or the mythical Perrières in Meursault or Cailleret in Puligny Montrachet Premier Cru. The wines benefit from long maturing periods, 12 or 18 months, and from an ultra-precise vinification process, which produces wines that are easy to digest, with a rare elegance and depth... Racy wines that know how to age gracefully. Wines that every lover of great whites must drink.
