Walnut mixed with a hint of Chinese black tea combines with salty and caramelised flavours, simply delicious...
Butterscotch, date and baked brown sugar aromas provide a nice opening to this wine. Then comes a bright acidity and layered flavours. Dried apricot and orange notes finish with hints of brine and pecan. The long, smoky finish shows walnut and ends on the drier side of the spectrum.
Aged for 12 years in botas.
