Ce Solera East India 15 ans d’Emilio Lustau est un Xérès emblématique. Il revêt une robe acajou cuivrée. Le nez résineux et balsamique s’ouvre sur des arômes de datte et de figue. La bouche, elle, est riche et équilibrée. Ses notes de confiture lui apportent beaucoup de suavité. La finale est poivrée, sur des notes de raisin sec, de noix et d’écorce confite. Sa texture est crémeuse et complexe, et son caractère doux et mûr. Xérès hors norme !
Il est né de l’assemblage des meilleurs meilleurs Olorosos et Pedro Ximénez, qui ont été élevés séparément en solera, composée de 33 barils de chêne américain. Son nom fait hommage à l’entreprise britannique East India Company, qui transportait du Sherry.
