This estate is located on the beautiful slopes of the village of Arbin, the preferred terroir for Mondeuse. Joseph Trosset has just retired and the estate continues with Louis Trosset, alone at the helm on only 2 ha, since the surface area has just been reduced. The soils are worked, the vinification is carried out by plot, the fermentations remain classic and the maturation, in vats, lasts from 8 to 12 months.
The Mondeuses have an incredible breed and are distinguished by their class and aromatic purity, often with a fresh aniseed flavour. The very small volumes produced make this estate a too confidential address, but one that produces wines of consistent quality and great ageing capacity.
