Der Inntaler
This is one of the best brandies in the world!
A subtle blend of Wild Raspberry, Williams Pear and Quince
"Der Inntaler" is a unique composition of tasty quinces, fragrant Williams pears and delicious wild raspberries. Named after the region of origin of this distillery, the Inntal, this subtle blend of three fruits offers a harmonious and delicately fruity brandy.
These Williams pears and quinces are grown, harvested and macerated under ideal conditions by partner growers in eastern Austria. Wild raspberries grow in the forests of the Carpathians. They are picked when they are optimally ripe, sorted and cleaned by hand and arrive perfectly fresh. Contrary to common practice elsewhere, they are always processed without any additives such as ferments, alcohol, sugar or flavourings.
After the 100% natural fermentation and double distillation of the three fruit musts, the three precious toast hearts are carefully blended to create "Der Inntaler". The precise proportions of the blend are a jealously guarded family secret.
In accordance with the old Tyrolean traditions, this brandy is aged for a minimum of eight years before bottling. During the ageing process, the alcohol loses its strength and power and the complex fruit aromas subtly intertwine to offer a unique taste experience with notes of pear, quince and wild raspberry.
