Enter the world of the best brandies in the world! An apricot with extremely intense aromatic flavours. This noble elixir has matured, gaining in smoothness and softness, but also in density and strength, with a wide range of aromas of ripe apricots.
Wachau is one of the best wine and fruit growing regions in Austria. Situated on the banks of the Danube, its soil and climate offer ideal conditions for fruit growth. The splendid apricot orchards are a feature of the landscape, especially during the spring flowering and summer harvest.
The selected apricots come exclusively from the Wachau and are of the most valuable varieties: the "Klosterneuburger" and the "Ungarische Beste". The farmers only harvest the apricots when they are so ripe that they fall off the tree by themselves. Juicy to the core, with a beautiful orange-yellow colour and intense redness, they have developed the intense aromatic richness that is sought after for these unusual brandies. The hand-picked apricots are cleaned and macerated on site on the day of harvest.
The fruit mash, which is fermented without any additives, is then carefully distilled twice in a copper still using the traditional Tyrolean method. The resulting toast is aged for at least seven years in an open glass bottle. This is the time it takes for the brandy to mature.

- Slow and delicate distillation according to the Tyrolean tradition of double distillation Up to 80 kg of fruit are needed to produce 1 litre of the famous "coeur de chauffe"
- Give it time with extended ageing to obtain fully developed eaux-de-vie. Once distilled, these eaux-de-vie are aged for many years in order to develop the unique harmony and aromatic expression that characterise them
