Ce Chardonnay La Reine est un vin au profil tranchant et salin mais avec aussi un côté onctueux, dans un style puissant et doté d'une grande fraîcheur et d'une grande persistance aromatique. Grand vin. Chardonnay de sélections massales plantées en 1946 et 1962.
Terroir : argile de décalcification (rouge et ocre), silice, sur socle calcaire du Bathonien. Ce Chardonnay provient d'une sélection massale de 15 ares seulement plantée en 1946 et 1962 sur un coteau exposé au Nord-Ouest d'altitude 260 m.
Vinification et élevage : élevage de 22 mois en fûts de 228L. Style ouillé, vinification sans intrant.
Accords mets/vin : à l'apéritif, carpaccio de Saint-Jacques, caviar.
