Cette Côte Rôtie Les Grandes Places présente une couleur d'un sombre profond. Son nez offre des parfums intenses de fruits noirs tels que le cassis, la myrtille et le pruneau, accompagnés de notes fumées rappelant la tourbe et de nuances mentholées de laurier. En bouche, il révèle une profondeur remarquable, avec des tanins serrés mais parfaitement intégrés grâce à un long élevage. La finale en bouche est longue et persistante, laissant une empreinte agréable qui perdure.
Terroir : minuscule parcelle (0,39 ha) plantée sur un des meilleurs terroirs (micashiste) de l’appellation. Cette cuvée est issue des terres brunes.
Vinification et élevage : éraflage total. Pigeage et remontage des jus pendant 4 à 5 semaines. Fermentation longue et progressive. Pressurage à basse pression pour ne pas éclater les pépins. Élevage : 40 mois et demi en barriques neuves de chêne français.
Accord mets/vin : faisan, sanglier, côte de boeuf charolais.
