Château Lafite Rothschild - 1er Grand Cru Classé
An intense dark ruby colour is followed by an intense and fine nose of black fruits (ripe, violet). The wine has a remarkable fullness that develops on the mid-palate, with a lot of purity and balance in a more refined style than the other Premiers Grands Crus of the appellation. Beautiful, well-coated tannins add to the power of this very high-class wine.
Benefiting from the steepest slopes, Lafite is the most impressive terroir in Pauillac. The vines are wonderfully tended and the Château is sumptuous. What can we say about the wine, except to heap praise on it, since it is a priori the model on which all eyes are turned: proud, noble, elegant, silky, complex, with intoxicating perfumes.

The Estate Château Lafite Rothschild
