Behind this lilting name lies one of the best deals in the Médoc, in the Moulis appellation. This 100-hectare vineyard is located in the Grand Poujeaux sector, with a beautiful terroir of Garonne gravel on a limestone layer. Chasse-Spleen has belonged to the Merlaut family since 1976, now represented by Céline Villars-Foubet.
Aromatic intensity, suppleness and finesse define the wines of Chasse-Spleen, seductive with flavours of cherry and blueberry, chocolate and cedar.
