Larmandier-Bernier
The Larmandier-Bernier family estate is located on the Côte des Blancs in Vertus, and is composed of 16 hectares (3.5 of which are Grand Cru) and no less than 50 separate plots, which have been biodynamically managed since 1999. On these privileged terroirs, the grape varieties are 85% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Noir with an average age of the vines of 33 years.
Pierre Larmandier strives, vintage after vintage, to work his land as naturally as possible in order to produce authentic wines, true to their roots
Indigenous yeasts are used to guarantee authentic wines, the only way, according to him, to produce a great wine
The result is in any case up to expectations, since Champagne Larmandier-Bernier represents the archetype of the authentic Champagne wine, precise and natural, not dosed or very little, witness of its magnificent terroir.
The greatest tasters are not mistaken and the estate is often praised in the Revue du Vin de France, Bettane et Dessauve, Gault et Millau... and the greatest restaurants are also actively looking for it
