The Estate Henriques & Henriques
The famous Henriques & Henriques estate (7 only on the island) has the particularity of having 11 hectares (only) in property in order to control the incoming quality even better. And this only for the white grape varieties: Sercial, Verdelho and Terrantez.
Another particularity of the estate is that it is the only one to benefit from this rare grape variety, Terrantez
Lastly, it has an internal cooperage where they themselves restore their old barrels and make new ones, all in the traditional way, integrating banana leaves (another of the island's great riches) between each stave.
