Magnum Vignes Oubliées
This wine confirms the greatness of the St Privat terroir. The quest for a gentle and serene balance continues. The red fruits and spices are carried by fine tannins that make you want to come back for more. Velvety and smoky on the palate, the juice is crisp and taut, and the wine is long-lasting.
Terroir:
Clay-limestone, sandstone and schist, all of which bear witness to the diversity offered by the Terrasses du Larzac, and in particular for this cuvée in the commune of Saint Privat.
Vinification:
Work guided by the desire to respect the fruit and freshness of the terroir. Sorting on the vine, de-stemming, vatting for 15 to 20 days, temperature control, etc. remain the ABCs of his work.
Vineyardmanagement :
Traditional cultivation with the gradual end of weedkillers and synthetic molecules, short pruning, disbudding, manual harvesting...
Grape variety :
Grenache, Syrah and Carignan express themselves to reveal the terroir of the Larzac foothills. This year a touch of Cinsault completes the blend.
Ageing:
Half-muids and barrels represented the heart of the ageing process for 10 months. The wine was bottled at the end of October, followed by a well-deserved rest period of 2 months!

A decanting and a serving temperature of 15°C allow to fully appreciate this wine.
