Œnologue de formation, Jean-Pierre Charlot a débuté en 1982 avec son beau-père, Joseph Voillot. Il prend les commandes du domaine en 1994. Aujourd’hui, son neveu, Étienne Chaix, s’apprête à prendre la relève.
Jean-Pierre Charlot a toujours valorisé un style du bourgogne fin et élégant, sans s’occuper de la mode des vins concentrés. Peu colorées, avec des tanins très fins, toutes ses cuvées affichent une jolie intensité et une belle aptitude à la garde.
