Le Gigondas du Domaine de la Bouïssière offre une densité remarquable, accompagnée d'une complexité aromatique. Ses tanins fins et ses nuances mentholées apportent une agréable fraîcheur à l'ensemble. Une note de cerise à l'eau de vie au nez. Sa bouche est racée et élégante, tout en affichant l'assise et la solidité du terroir de Gigondas. Un vin profond gorgé de fruit (ne pas hésiter à carafer dans sa jeunesse).

Terroir : sol pentu (entre 300 et 500 mètres d’altitude), âpre, caillouteux et exposé nord-ouest. Argiles du Valanginien enfouies sous les éboulis, sols alumino-silicatés, riches en oligo-éléments métalliques. Vignes âgées vignes d'une cinquantaine d'années. 

Vinification et élevage : récolte et tri manuels. Aucune filtrage ni collage. L'élevage s'opère pour 35% en cuves et 65% en foudres de 2 à 5 vins.

Accords mets/vin : terrine campagnarde, tournedos de boeuf, bavette.

The Estate La Bouïssière

Gilles and Thierry Faravel perpetuate with mastery and talent the tradition of the great wines of Gigondas. Ideally situated at an altitude of 400m on the heights of the Dentelles de Montmirail, the 8.5 hectare vineyard produces deep, racy Gigondas that are brilliant when young and great when aged. The Cuvée Tradition is made from Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre and represents the archetypal Gigondas of reference, with exemplary consistency vintage after vintage. As for Font de Tonin, it is the quintessence of Gigondas, with an exemplary constitution, a precision of goldsmith and an obvious race. Made from very old Grenache (70%) and exceptional Mourvèdre grapes over 75 years old... Serious, noble and deep, a real class!
