In 1992, the three Ravaille brothers took a turn and decided to highlight the qualities of the terroir and therefore of the wines produced. Twenty years later, it is clear that Ermitage du Pic Saint Loup has joined the Languedoc elite.
The constancy of the vintage after vintage proves that the estate has become a sure value in the sector.
The three brothers' desire to produce wines that are as close to nature as possible has led Ermitage du Pic Saint Loup to adopt biodynamic farming a few years ago, with ultra-rigorous monitoring of the vines, and an organic farming (AB) certification process is underway.
As for the vinification, it is particularly precise, separated by grape variety and by terroir, with a minimum of intervention in the cellar giving birth to singular wines, faithful to their terroir, full of minerality. Smoothness, freshness and aromatic complexity emerge from the tasting...
All the vintages are magnificently balanced, with the masterpiece of the domain Guilhem Gaucelm, a perfect ambassador of the greatest that the Languedoc is capable of presenting... A great wine that is still being talked about...
