A superb blend of 6 whiskies from 6 Scottish islands!

The Six Isles is the very first pure malt whisky to combine malts from the six producing islands: Arran, Islay, Jura, Mull, Orkney and Skye. If 6 Isles is characterised by its peaty and smoky notes, which are the main common point of all these distilleries, it draws from each of them many other things (heather in Orkneys, spices in Skye...).

Nose: A great complexity. Spices, pepper, light smokiness, sour sweets, iodine and floral aromas of spring heather make up the nose.
On the palate, it is rich, sweet, oily, laced with freshly cut wood and citrus, all coated in light peat.
A bright yellow colour with buttercup hues and a straw-like gradation.
The finish is soft, salty and sweet. Long and subtle.

Origin of the islands:
To the west and north of "continental" Scotland, the jagged coastline ends in a chain of islands which are rather inhospitable, but which are nevertheless home to a few distilleries. The appellation Island is no longer officially recognised by the Scotch Whisky Association, and is now confused with Highland. But the remoteness and the difficulty to trade with the rest of Scotland explain the preservation of specific traditions
