Superb deep purple red colour. The first nose is intense and subtle at the same time. The fruit is ripe and the agitation reveals the aromatic complexity of this wine. The wine has an incredible attack of smoothness and delicacy. Then it unfolds by filling the mouth, without ever "showing the muscles". The tannins are tight without being hard, subtle and enchanting. Once again, Haut-Brion surprises by its ability to sublimate the complementarity of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon.This 2019 vintage of Haut-Brion is one of the most successful vintages produced during a hot, dry summer.
