Bourgogne blanc
The white wines of the estate are matured by Joseph in a search for purity, elegance and length.
Marc Colin was born in 1944 and created his estate in the late 1970s; with his wife Michèle, they took over the vines from several generations of the Colin and Ponavoy families, with some parcels being owned by the family for over a century.
Today, Caroline, Joseph and Damien, three of their children, run the Marc Colin estate which covers 19 hectares and includes 26 appellations in the villages of SAINT-AUBIN, CHASSAGNE-MONTRACHET, PULIGNY-MONTRACHET and SANTENAY.
Joseph manages part of the vineyard under integrated farming methods and the other part under organic farming experiments. Regular work of the soil allows us to avoid chemical weeding, and thus to obtain an irreproachable quality of grapes
