"En dehors d’un somptueux château, Issan peut se prévaloir de bénéficier d’un des rares vignobles historiques n’ayant pas été remembré, idéalement placé en bord de Gironde et contenu au sein d’un clos magnifique.
Le cru appartient aujourd'hui pour 50 % à la famille Lorenzetti (Pédesclaux, Lafon Rochet et Lilian Laouys) et pour l'autre moitié à la famille d'Emmanuel Cruse qui en assure la gestion.
Les vins ont gagné en épaisseur, en intensité et en profondeur ces dernières années, tout en conservant un toucher très soyeux. Ils font désormais partie de l’élite de l’appellation." 2* RVF Guide
