Glengoyne 12 ans
Spicy sweetness for this single malt. This sweet single malt is characterised by aromas of coconut, lemon peel, honey and dried malt. Toffee apples and a touch of cinnamon complete the picture on the palate, while a drop of water reveals ginger and orange.
To preserve the unique taste of its whiskies, Glengoyne has used the same traditional methods since its creation in 1833. Located in the Highlands north of Glasgow, Glengoyne produces its whisky from Golden Promise, a barley which gives a sweet distillate.
This barley is then air-dried, peat being banned from Glengoyne. Then comes a slow distillation of 8 hours before the nectar is aged for twelve years in bourbon and sherry casks. All of this contributes to giving this single malt its unique character.
This Glengoyne 12 year old is available in a bottle with a case or in a box with two glasses ideal for a gift.
