Ce Rive Droite est un vin gourmand et fruité aux tanins fins avec une belle fraicheur en fin de bouche. Le nez est très expressif et dévoile des notes de fruits noirs et d’épices douces. Bouche fraîche, ample et structurée, avec des tanins présents et soyeux. Une belle entrée en matière pour découvrir ce superbe domaine.
Terroir : Parcelles situées à Saint-Laurent des Arbres, sur la rive droite du Rhône. Assemblage de plusieurs parcelles de Grenaches : Noir (50%), Carignan (20%), Syrah (15%), Merlot (10%), Mourvèdre (5%). Sols à dominante sableuse.
Accords mets/vin : Charcuterie, viandes rôties, viandes blanches.

The Estate Clos du Mont-Olivet
The Clos du Mont Olivet was created in 1932 by Séraphin Sabon, and since its origins the family estate has been producing high quality, classic Châteauneuf du Pape on magnificent terroirs, as well as Côtes du Rhône wines of excellent quality.
The vineyard covers 32 hectares, 20.5 hectares of which are used for the Châteauneuf wines, which are made from a large majority of Grenache grapes, while the whites are made from Bourboulenc and Roussanne.
The domain still seems to be unknown in the area. But for how much longer...? The wines of the domain are regularly acclaimed by the finest tasters such as Parker, Bettane & Desseauve, RVF who often place Clos du Mont Olivet among the elite of the region.
The wines are always very deep, rich, imbued with their terroir, ready to stand the test of time. They will begin to peak at 10 years of age and will finish well after 20 years, depending on the vintage, when they will deliver all their aromatic complexity, which is impressive here. The Petit Mont is easier to access because of its constitution and also because of its really angelic price... As for the Côtes du Rhône, they are very good alternatives, providing a maximum of pleasure, like this Varène, which is predominantly Syrah and offers exceptional value for money...
