Ramonet
The Ramonet brothers, Noël and Jean-Claude, perpetuate the Ramonet legend, which began in the 1930s with the passion of Americans at the time for the estate's wines. The Chassagne de Ramonet wines have since conquered the entire planet and their reputation is worldwide.
Based in Chassagne-Montrachet on a vineyard totalling 17 hectares, the 2 brothers benefit from a heritage of grandiose terroirs on the parcels of Boudriotte, Morgeot, Les Ruchottes where the Premier Cru have the allure and complexity of Grand Cru... as well as a few ares in the mythical Montrachet.
Wines in the purest Burgundy tradition, with great balance and made for ageing. A very high level of quality, both in white and in red. Pure whites, very long on the palate, with great complexity for ageing, and reds that are both subtle, greedy and complex at the same time, certainly the best reds in the appellation.
One of the great jewels of the Côte de Beaune!
