The Whiskyset comes in a box of 10 whisky stones that can be reused for life!

After putting the stones in the freezer for at least 2 hours, they replace the ice cubes to lower the temperature of the spirit by about ten degrees without diluting the water, while preserving the aromas.
The soapstone stores the cold and releases it slowly.

Launched in the early 1990s in Scandinavia, Whiskyset has since been widely copied but never equalled. Its specific composition guarantees the best efficiency compared to granite (3 times less efficient) or Swedish soapstone, which is much too rich in talc (up to 80%!)

Soapstone is known for its very high capacity to store cold and to release it slowly. Denser than granite, it is much more efficient in its ability to store and release cold due to its specific composition. The particularity of Finnish soapstone is its ideally balanced composition (talc and magnesite). This balance and its extraordinary density (2980 kg/m3 !) guarantee the best thermal properties for accumulating and diffusing cold.
