One of the two greatest red wines of the entire appellation, the second being Vendanges Entières from the same estate...

Tasting notes

Great Pinot Noir which will age gracefully. An exceptional richness of constitution, fruit of an exemplary beauty on the raspberry and the spices, velvet tannins.

With its juicy fruit, its voluptuous frame, Charlouise is honest, full-bodied and spherical, with ripe and patinated tannins: a great wine which deserves to age.

The Estate

Based in Bué, the Pinard family, now led by Clément and Florent but still under the watchful eye of their father Vincent, is continuing its spectacular progress towards excellence, with organic farming and a demanding desire to transcribe each specific terroir as well as possible.
The Sauvignon parcels are now at an exceptional level, neck and neck with two or three other estates in the appellation.
The Pinot Noir still has no equivalent... and remains a very rare item...
